OCTOBER 1, 2013 - WORKSHOPS SIGN-UPS

The sign-up sheets for two workshops went up tonight at the meeting, they are on the magnetic board in the Guild:

1. October 26: a hands-on workshop by Teresa Gagne from Saskatoon. This is about sound makers such as include rattles, rainsticks and an overview of sound-making ideas. The cost is $50. per member. It is our first brain-storming session for the upcoming, 50th Anniversary show at CASA entitled "Musicality".

2. Saturday and Sunday, August 2-3 is a workshop by Carol Guthro. See the poster below. Cost will be approximately $100 per member plus materials.

Saturday & Sunday, August 2-3, 2014
This workshop will focus hand building and surface techniques. We will be using cardboard and wooden drop molds and other hand building techniques to create forms. I will demonstrate a number of surface design techniques that I use in my work incorporating color, pattern and texture.
